Tashicholing Hospital

The Tashicholing Hospital, a 20-bed facility located in Tashicholing Dungkhag, Samtse, Bhutan, is nearing completion. As of December 2024, 96% of the construction work was finished, with the hospital expected to open by April 2025.

 This new hospital, situated just below the old 10-bed Tashicholing Hospital along the Sibsoo-Tendruk highway, aims to address the healthcare needs of approximately 30,000 residents in the region.

The project, initiated in April 2022 under the '111th National Day Footprint Initiative,' has a budget of Nu 500 million.
